Professor Abul Hasnat Muhammad Solaiman, PhD is a distinguished academician, senior researcher, and technology pioneer in agricultural development. Serving as a senior Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), his career spans over 14 years of driving high-impact technology adoption, crop diversification, and next-generation smart farming systems.

He obtained his PhD from Iwate University, Japan under the prestigious JSPS RONPAKU fellowship, specializing in Bio-production and Safe/Organic Agricultural Production frameworks. He is prominently recognized as the Founder and Former Project Director of FAB LAB SAU, a milestone manufacturing facility funded by the World Bank Group to accelerate rapid prototyping in smart city and rural agricultural sectors.
